Viral Marketing Strategies You Can Use To Create A Traffic Avalanche To Your Website

In this article, I would like to share with you three methods to launch a powerful viral marketing campaign that would allow your product to propagate itself like wildfire on the internet and bring some traffic to your website.

Method 1: Give your prospects something interesting and original

This might seem obvious to you, but out of the dozens of free ebooks you have downloaded online, how many have actually delivered something of value to you? The answer is pretty obvious: not many. Most viral ebooks nowadays are just rehashed, boring or simply wrongful information. You want to differentiate yourself by offering something of tremendous value for free. Even if you are simply compiling some articles for your ebook, go the extra-mile to find some very insightful and detailed articles that can actually solve a problem for your prospects. If your product is truly useful, it will get a better chance of being passed around.

Method 2: Get an original delivery format

If you want to gain an unfair advantage over your competitors, try changing the format of your viral information and you will be shocked by the results. While everybody is currently passing ebooks around, you should experiment with creating viral audio books or videos. If you pack some valuable contents in those, Trust me: your viral campaign will go through the roof.

Method 3: Leverage your delivery system

In order for your viral product to get into as many hands as possible, you need to position yourself strategically to have it passed around. Here are four possible ways to get your product into as many hands as possible:

- Offer your viral product to product owners as a bonus package: if you have a good product, they will happily oblige and thank you for it. Do not limit yourself to online prospects; you should also look for offline product owners that your product could complement.

- Make your product rebrandable: it will provide a greater incentive for people to actually pass it around with their rebranded links inside. You can use Viral PDF to enable this function, if your product is a PDF file.

- Offer it on eBay for a nominal fee and offer resell and giveaway rights to it. Your goal is to get it in as many hands as possible.

- Look for popular ebook directories where you could offer it

I think you have noticed an increase in the amount of giveaways offered online. Participate in those one and offer your product as a gift, or better yet organize your own giveaway. This method will also allow you to build a list very fast.

Another important thing to remember is to make sure that your product is branded with your link in every possible location. Include your link in the header and footer. Mention it several times in your product and provide an incentive for people to actually click on it. You can do that by offering some special information or irresistible offer if they click on it.
